   Generally, Bill Gates is known for being the second most richest person in the whole world. Being the co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. As one of the most inspiring personality that history has ever had, Bill Gates as led a life filled with success and as also given so many advices to young and upcoming individuals who want to be rich and successful in life. He is an American programmer, investor and also a philanthropist. He is the co-founder of Microsoft which is the world premier software. With an estimated net worth of $108.1 billion, Bill is the second richest man in the world.

Before we continue to the things that actually brought Bill Gates into is success shoes, let’s take a look at a brief history about him.

Early life of Bill Gates

Bill Gates is born into the family of William Henry Gates and Mary Maxwell Gates on October 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. His father W. Gates was a successful attorney while his mother was a school teacher who went on to become a member of the Board Of Directors of First Interstate Bank. Bill Gates was a bright student in his early life and really performed academically well in mathematics as a subject in which he scored 800 points in the mathematics art of an intelligence test.

Bill Gates later developed passion for programming in is early thirteen’s (13 years) and at the same school he was established with a computer and all other things he needed. To cut it all short, Gates met with Allen a friend of his who was also interested in computer programming and at the age of 15 Gates had sold two software in which he made a sum of $20,000 and $30,000 each. And this was the start of Bill Gates journey to a billion of dollars wealth creation till he became the second richest in the world.

 Agreeably, Gates has now conveniently dedicated most of his time into philanthropic activities and community works and project, he is now 64 years. He has an estimated net worth of 108.1 billion USD, and mainly spend his billions on charity through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which is the world’s largest private charitable foundation and also plans to give away most of his fortune.

Don’t compare yourself with anyone, if you do so you are just insulting yourself

Unfortunately, most young people in our world today live their lives by comparing themselves to every other person and just end up try to be everybody and that is part of the beginning of unhappiness and failure in life. Gates says “you are unique being who is not designed to be good in everything but in something unique”. The mission of life is not to beat everybody you meet but to be able to know your own personal game.

Be yourself, know that nobody on earth is better than you and you are better than no one as well, you are simply a unique being who is very much capable of achieving something no one else can achieve.

ADVICE 2 

To win big you must sometimes have to take big risks.

The very and most interesting time of one’s life is when an individual is still young and does not have anything to really lose. Don’t just give life a little understanding of it being easy, don’t live and behave like everyone else. Just talking about your dream won’t help you, you just have to wake up and pursue your dreams and stop making excuses! just start with whatever you have, wherever you are. “Get out and get lost”.

ADVICE 3

Get a coach.

It does not matter whether you are an athlete or not, in this life you will become that one person you admire if you don’t have anyone significant you will also become nobody significant. You will need a coach someone that inspires and challenges you so that you can also believe In yourself. Your coach must not be someone you have physical access to; it can be someone whom you have read books about and someone who has achieved something great in life. Why this is important is very simple, life is short and tough and most people around you don’t know anything about success. If none of your family members is successful they can’t teach you anything about success that is why you need to look outside your domain for someone who can inspire and challenge you then get to know more about the person so you can reason along with every decision he/she takes.

ADVICE 4

If you show people the problem and you show people the Solutions they will be moved to act.

For you to be successful in life you must be able to lead the people and get them motivated towards a common goal of their life. Bill Gates – “to motivate people into action you have to show them what the problem is and what can be done to create a solution to it, let people know the reason why what has to be done needs to be done”. If you are going to lead you need to lead with great knowledge and example that will help sustain your followers.

ADVICE 5

Success is a lousy teacher it can seduce you into thinking you can’t lose.

Humbleness is the key to being successful for a long period of time. So many people have been success full for sometimes or few minutes but because they reached a point where they thought they know it all and that they are experts, they crumbled and never rise again. People who have been successful for a long time never stop learning because they know that the possibility of losing is sure if they stop learning. I will say “learning never ends”.

I spend a lot of time reading.

Even as a leader Bill Gates is still a wide and voracious leader and even recommends selections of book for people to read at home during this period to prevent distraction which is what I will be sharing with us in my next article, follow me so you won’t miss this. Furthermore, life changes every day and the only way to remain a current is to keep reading in this process you might be able to encounter new business ideas or even widen your knowledge for future purposes. The good book you read now actually determines your future but it’s so disappointing that nowadays most young people are now engrossed in social media distractions rather than aspiring to know more in life.

Charlie Jones explained that- “you will be the same person in five years except for the people you meet and the good books you read”. So therefore, try to read as much as possible as this helps to widen, straighten, and increase your success in life.

ADVICE 7

We start life with many big dreams.

The various aspirations we wanted in the early stage of life can only be achieved through persistency. Things we want to create, accomplish, survey and experience are various dreams of people but an average man will never give a good reason for him not achieving those things in his early life, but it is all because of fear of losing and their backing out to comfort zone after first failure. But if you continue without minding your failure, you are on the right path to success.

“If you don’t build your dream someone else will hire you to build theirs”-Bill Gates .Only a few people who are planning to start a business will end up backing out of it because whenever they try to take actions, fear of losing sends them parking. Just few people takes cogent, proactive, determined and persistent actions. Be among those few and stand up to your fear!

Our success has really been based on partnership from the very beginning.

Your consistent ability to partner with other people is key driving force to true success and wealth. Microsoft recorded their first big success when Bill Gates partnered with I.P.M. and since then he has been in the act of partnering with people to acquire his success. The fact he has been showing is that two heads are better than one so you should try to work with other people so that you can easily acquire what you have in mind.

Your exposure from a young age to the world is a super big thing.

Some people do not start to understand life until they are already old and weak to make amends. Most people have a believe that life should be lived easily and they expect people like their close relatives and government to solve their problem always. The more you start to take full responsibility of your life the more close you are to being successful in life.

Listen to good advice from people that know more than you.

If you fail to listen to good advices from people that have broader knowledge than you and are also versed than you in your line of study you will be in a total mess. Try to seek more to your knowledge don’t accept the fact that you know everything or that you are an expert, always try to be submissive.
